How can I choose my room?
Choose your room type and inform the Student Affairs representative. Placement is planned according to the selected room type, department and education status.
How do I move out at the end of the year?
The commitment period ends on June 30. If you will not renew your registration, you should vacate the room by June 30 during business hours and contact Student Affairs.
What should I bring when moving in?
Bring personal essentials such as towels, slippers, liquid soap, toilet paper, pots, pans and cups. There are supermarkets nearby for missing items.
What is required during move-in?
The required registration documents must be completed. The document list is shared on the website and during the registration process.
How long can I stay at Atatepe?
Accommodation starts on the date stated in the commitment document and ends on June 30. The standard stay period is 10 months.
When can I move in?
Move-in starts on the beginning date stated in the commitment document. The accommodation period is planned as 10 months.
Can I change my payment method?
Yes. You can contact Student Affairs for information about payment options such as cash, EFT, mail order and credit card.
Can payments be made only through the bank?
No. Payments can be made by cash, credit card, bank transfer or mail order.
Which bank account can we use for payments?

How can I pay dormitory fees?
Payments can be made upfront, by credit card or in installments with promissory notes. Contact the registration team for current planning.
Are the buildings protected against earthquakes and fire?
The facility is built according to current earthquake regulations and has earthquake resistance test reports. It includes fire cabinets, sprinklers, early fire detection alarms and smoke detectors in rooms.
How are room placements handled?
Single, double and triple rooms are planned for PhD, graduate and undergraduate students. Placements consider department and academic level.
Can I change my room type during the term?
You should confirm availability with Student Affairs. Depending on availability, a room type change can be made by paying the price difference.
When can I visit the dormitory?
The facility is open 24/7. You can visit through the Registration Support Team, including weekends, or review the facility online through the website.
What fixed items are available in the rooms?
Rooms include a wardrobe, bookcase, chair, bed, internal phone, refrigerator, study desk, safe, TV and bathroom.
How large are the rooms?
Single, double and triple rooms are planned as 25 sqm.
Which room types are available?
Atatepe offers single, double and triple room alternatives.
What extra services are available?
Additional options include a game center, stationery, shopping center and food and beverage units.
Can I bring a pet?
Pets are not permitted at Atatepe Student Life Center.
Can I change rooms if I cannot get along with my roommate?
You should submit your room change request to management in writing. If the request is approved, the change is made depending on availability.
What is included in the dormitory fee?
The fee includes electricity, water, heating and cooling, fiber internet, room furniture, fitness center, cinema, game and activity areas, common areas, security, room checks, room cleaning and linen changes. Breakfast and laundry are organized separately.
Are visitors allowed?
Visitors who are Hacettepe University students may be accepted in common areas until 22:00.
What are the entry and exit hours?
Entry time is stated as 02:00 at night and exit time as 06:00. Entry and exit are logged through the QR code access system.
How can I meet my dining needs?
Students can prepare meals in the kitchen, buy food from food and beverage units in the social area, or order room service.
What is social life like at Atatepe?
Shared areas, dining space, game room and proximity to the BAM shopping center on campus support social life.
What events are held at Atatepe?
Events are organized according to students' exam periods and study schedules. Social gatherings and barbecue events are held when suitable.
